Clonlara have booked their spot in the winners round of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship after beating Clarecastle 2-18 to 2-10 in their Round One replay.
Clonlara led at the break by 2-10 to 0-5 after a dominant opening half.
Darach Honan was the first to billow the net after just 9 minutes, while Michael O'Loughlin followed suit 10 minutes later after Honan turned provider.
The Magpies fought back in the second half with goals from Pakie Healy and Brian Lynch, but the 2008 champions closed the game out to take the eight point win.
It means Clonlara now play O'Callaghans Mills for the fourth year running in the championship with a quarter final spot on offer, while Clarecastle take on Inagh/Kilnamona for a chance to get back into the race for the Canon.
