Kildysart lie in second despite the loss, while O’Currys are currently are in third after they defeated Shannon Gaels 5-9 to 0-6.

Those positions may change however.  The game between Kilrush Shamrocks and Cratloe didn’t go ahead as the South-East Clare outfit didn’t want to field, given that so many of their players line out for Clare today. If, as appears most likely, Kilrush are awarded the win then they would take on Kildysart in the semi-finals with O’Curry’s dropping out of the knockout stages.

A loss for Crtloe would also see them relegated provided St. Breckan’s defeat Kilmurry Ibrickane in tonight’s final game of the round.  Their game is set for a 7:00 throw-in.
