Clare’s most recent National Hurling League winning captain says they know bigger days lie ahead in the coming weeks.

A fifth ever title was secured with victory over Kilkenny, with thoughts now turning to the championship opener against Limerick in just under fortnights time.

Miltown clubman Conor Cleary became the first Clare player since Cian Dillon and Tony Kelly in 2016 to lift the trophy.
