Conor Cleary has been named to start for Clare in Sunday’s Munster SHC final against Limerick.
The Miltown clubman was rated as a major doubt for the game after suffering a dislocated shoulder against Cork in the final game of the round robin series in Cusack Park.
He has been an ever present for Clare on the edge of the square over the last number of years, and is handed the number three jersey once again for Sunday’s game.
Clare will be captained by Tony Kelly who is named to start at centre forward with Shane O’Donnell set to spearhead the Banner attack at full forward.
Meanwhile there is no Cian Lynch in the Limerick starting line up for Sunday’s game, with the Patrickswell man once again named to start on the bench. Cathal O’Neill retains the centre forward position, with Gearoid Hegarty and Tom Morrissey joining him in the half forward line.
Aaron Gillane, Seamus Flanagan and Peter Casey are the inside line for the reigning Munster and All Ireland champions.
