Clooney-Quin and Scariff will both be hoping to take another step toward bridging significant gaps since their last appearance in the TUS Clare senior hurling final.
The sides clash in the second of a quarter-final double header in Cusack Park on Saturday, in a game that will see county stars Peter Duggan and Mark Rodgers lead the scoring threat.
Scariff come into the game with an unbeaten record after topping the Group One standings, while Clooney-Quin’s only group defeat came at the hands of Newmarket.
