GOLF:
Darren Clarke is one-shot off the lead following day three of the Scottish Open at Loch Lomond. The Ulsterman shot a third-round 67 to finish on 14-under-par and one-shot behind leader Edoardo Molinari on 15-under.
Shane Lowry finished on 6-under-par following a round of 66.

Sylvain Chavanel reclaimed the leader’s yellow jersey with victory on Stage 7 of the Tour de France today. Rafael Valls Ferri was second, with Juan Manuel Garate back in third. Nicolas Roche finished amongst the favourites in 11th position and moves into the top ten overall.
