Clare’s Youngest Soccer Referee Urges More Women To Take Up The Whistle

Clare’s youngest soccer referee feels a culture change in the level of abuse toward officials will be key in encouraging more people to take up the whistle.

19 year old Keelin Fitzgerald from the Burren took charge of her first adult game in the Clare league in recent weeks, as she was in charge of the 2-2 draw between Ennis Dons and Shannon Hibs B.
