Clare’s Sports Stars Hopeful Championship Campaigns Will Continue

Some of Clare’s inter-county GAA stars have expressed hopes that the COVID-19 pandemic will lift on time to allow for Championship campaigns this summer.

The sporting calendar has been effectively frozen over the coming period, leaving top athletes and sports stars in limbo, and training on their own.

The GAA cancelled all activities for the duration of the government-imposed restrictions, but the organisation remains hopeful that games will be held this summer, even if that means altering the format of the Senior Championships.
