Clare All Star Conor Ryan admits the Banner squad have been jealous of neighbours Limerick, following their success in last year's Munster Championship.
While Clare did lift Liam McCarthy last September, they were denied a place in the provincial showpiece by Cork, who went onto lose to the Treatymen.
Now, as attentions turn towards this year's competition, Cratloe clubman Ryan says this year's Munster title will be hard-fought.
Meanwhile, Cork will play Kerry in the Munster Minor Football Final in July.
The Rebels had six points to spare over Waterford last night, while Kerry beat Tipperary by 17 points at Semple Stadium.
The final will be held on July 6th.
