Clare’s Tony Kelly has been named as Bord Gais Energy Munster GAA Minor Hurler of 2011.
The Ballyea man was very much to the fore when captaining the Banner to the Munster title this summer, the first time Clare had successfully defended the crown.

Cork’s Aidan Walsh scooped Under 21 Hurler of the year, with Ciaran Sheehan of the Rebels receiving Under 21 Footballer of the year and Tipp’s TJ Ryan the Minor Football award.
The honours will be presented at a ceremony in Killarney next month.
