Clare’s Coughlan To Make Starting Munster Debut In Opening Game Of URC Defence

Clare’s Ethan Coughlan will make his starting competitive debut for Munster this weekend.

The Doora Barefield native is named at scrum half as the province begin the defence of their URC title against the Sharks in Thomond Park.

He is joined in the half backs by Joey Carbery for the game which kicks off at 5.15pm on Saturday evening.

Elsewhere, Andrew Conway returns after missing all of last season for his 150th appearance for Munster, having not played since June 2022 due to a knee injury.
