The opening game in the Park this afternoon saw a 16 point victory for Clarecastle, as they overcame Tubber 3-21 to 1-11.

At half time Clarecastle led 1-08 to 0-06, but two more second half goals through Conor Galvin and Stephen Ward put them well on their way to their opening points of the 2014 race for the Canon Hamilton.
Barry O'Connor raised the green flag for Tubber.
Bobby Duggan top scored for the Magpies with 1-09.
Newmarket still top group 2 after the weekends action however after their 18 point win over Tulla yesterday.
