Clare Warned Against Mistakes In All Ireland Intermediate Final With The Cats

A member of the Clare intermediate hurling backroom team is warning they will be punished for any mistakes in this weekends All Ireland Final.

Kilkenny provide the opposition in Thurles as the Banner look to claim a second title this decade at the grade.

There are a number of injury concerns for management ahead of the game, with Ben O'Gorman, Shane Gleeson and Dara Walsh all on the treatment table.

Selector Peter Casey feels the Cats will provide their toughest test to date.

It gets underway tomorrow in Semple Stadium at 6pm, live commentary here on Clare FM in association with T Sheils And Company Gort Road Ennis. 

Elsewhere in hurling, 

There's one game tonight in the final league stage of the Clare Cup.

Crusheen could go top of the Division 1A standings when they host Newmarket.

It gets underway at 7.30pm.

There's also action in the Kerry Group Minor Hurling championships this evening.

In Division 1, Kilmaley host Wolfe Tones, Sixmilebridge entertain neighbours Clonlara ,Broadford/Smith O'Briens go to Gurteen to face St Josephs Doora Barefield, Cratloe host Corofin/Ruan and Inagh is the venue as Inagh/Kilnamona face Clarecastle.
