Clare have gotten their Division Two South Football League campaign off to a winning start.
The Banner registered an impressive 1-16 to 0-12 win over Laois, with Kilmurry Ibrickane’s Daniel Walsh notching 1-2 on his senior intercounty debut.
Captain Eoin Cleary accounted for 0-10 of his sides total, but an opening minute injury to Jamie Malone has left him in a race to be fit for Clare’s final two games in the division.
