Clare will name their team later for Sunday’s opening Munster championship clash with Tipperary in Thurles.
It is expected that Peter Duggan will start his first championship game since 2019, while Shane O’Donnell is also expected to feature for the first time this year.
2018 All Star full forward John Conlon will continue in his centre back role, with the Clonlara man set to embark on a 14th championship campaign with the county side.
