Clare's U21 footballers will begin their pre-season campaign next weekend, but not as they had originally intended.
The new management team of Neil Hawes and Michael O'Shea had originally opted out of the Hastings Cup for 2015, having instead decided to compete in a Munster League.
It emerged late last week that this competition had failed to be sanctioned by Croke Park, and was abandoned.
It meant the Banner would have had no pre-season tournament before their Munster championship opener against Waterford in March.
However, they have now been reinstated into the Hastings Cup, and will begin their campaign with a home game against Laois on Saturday, before hosting Offaly the weekend after.
Their last round robin game will be away to Leitrim a week later.
