The Clare under 21’s begin their Hastings Cup Campaign this afternoon with a round one clash against Roscommon.
Twelve counties compete in the tournament which consists of three groups of four teams.
Ger Keanes banner side have been grouped with Roscommon for this weekends opener, will clash with Westmeath next weekend and Kildare in the final round of group games.
The top team from each group along with the best second placed team will qualify for semi-finals.
The other two group runners-up will contest the Hastings Shield Field.
Throw in in Clann na Gaels in Roscommon this afternoon is at 2pm.
This pre-season competitive action comes ahead of the championship opener on March 19th in the Munster Semi final against the quarter final winners of Tipperary V Waterford.
