Clare boss Mark Fitzgerald feels they have plenty to work on as they turn thoughts toward a shot at promotion from Division Three of the National Football League.
A brace of first half goals from Cormac Murray helped the Banner to overcome Wicklow by 2-15 to 0-8 in Cusack Park, leaving Clare on six points from their opening four games.
The home side recovered from a slow start with Murray’s brace seeing Clare lead by seven points at the half time break.
