Clare will play Limerick in the next round of the Waterford Crystal Cup after a comprehensive 3-25 to 0-05 win over WIT in Sixmilebridge.
The Banner led by 2-14 to to 0-03 at the break with goals from Aaron Cunningham and Daire Keane.
A further goal from Eoin Hayes sealed Davy Fitzgerald’s first competitive win for Clare and set up next week’s meeting with Limerick.
