Clare to remain in Division Four Football League

Clare will have to endure another year in division four of the national football league after their 1-15 to 1-12 loss to Wicklow

Clare’s dreams of promotion were left in tatters by late scores from Tony Hannon  and Leighton Glynn.

The visitors had fought back from conceding an opening minute goal  and  Shane McNeilus’ red card 10 minutes inot the second half to be level with 5 minutes to go.
But Wicklow drove on for three unanswered points to seal their place in the league final.
