Clare’s bid for promotion from Division Three of the National Football League will go to the final day.

A 0-15 to 0-12 win over Antrim means they make the trip to Newry next weekend with a chance of stepping up to the second tier.

Clare led 0-9 to 0-3 at the break with Antrim reduced to 14 men after a straight red card for Colm McLarnon in the closing stages of the opening period.
