The premier division of the Clare Soccer League returns this weekend.
The long-awaited clash of Newmarket Celtic and Avenue United gets the action underway on Saturday at McDonough Park, with a 6.30 start.

It originally took place last September, but the match had to be called off with 6 minutes left, after one of Avenue’s players suffered a serious injury.
The 2-1 game was due to re-start in February but was postponed on account of coronavirus, and this weekend Avenue will hope to equalise in the two-part resumption.
Newmarket Celtic Manager Mark O’Malley says anything could happen.
