Elsewhere, Broadford overcame Clarecastle in a criticial Group two survival clash, meanwhile Cratloe’s unbeaten run came to an end with a five point defeat at the hands of O’Callaghan’s Mills.

The Bridge’s commanding victory over Clonlara sees the champions of 2020 enter the last 8 draw in the seeded position along with table toppers of the remaining groups, Clooney Quin, Cratloe and Inagh-Kilnamona.

Second placed group finishers Newmarket-On-Fergus, Ballyea, Eire Og and Wolfe Tones will join them in the unseeded bowl for the quarter final draw.

Clarecastle’s defeat at the hands of Broadford sees the Magpies headed for their third relegation battle in four years where they will be joined by the East Clare contingent of Scariff, Whitegate and Smith O’Briens

The relegation series will consist of two relegation play offs with the respective losers of each dropping to the Intermediate grade for 2023.

Finally Broadford’s victory sees Jimmy Browne’s men on course for the senior B competition alongside O’Callaghan’s Mills, Feakle, Clonlara, Kilmaley and Crusheen.
