Clare Set For Limerick Encounter

Management of the Clare Under-21s who are in Munster Championship action tonight say they're hopeful the Banner's senior experience will be an advantage.

Clare begin the defence of their Munster and All-Ireland crowns against Limerick tonight, and go into the game without the likes of Shane O'Donnell and Cathal O'Connell.

However, five of tonight's starters did play for Davy Fitzgerald's seniors in their last competitive outing, including captain Tony Kelly, and joint manager Donal Moloney thinks this will stand to the side tonight.

Throw-in at the Gaelic Grounds is at 7:30 and there will be live coverage on Clare FM, with build-up beginning from 7:00.

Also tonight, in the Leinster Under-21 Championship, Kilkenny host provincial champions Wexford and Westmeath meet Carlow.
