O'Currys beat St Josephs Doora Barefield after extra time to set up a showdown with defending champions Cratloe,
Cooraclare defeated Ennistymon and now face Doonbeg,
Eire Óg will take on Miltown after the Townies easily disposed of Lissycasey,
Kilmurry Ibrickane beat Kilkee to set up a quarter final meeting with Clondegad.
The final round of group games were also completed in the intermediate football championship
In Group 1, Corofin overcame Kilmihil by 2-10 to 0-11 while Kildysart received a walkover from Kilmurry Ibrickane
A three way playoff between Corofin, Kilmihil and Kildysart will determine which two teams advance to the semi finals.
Details of that playoff are expected to be announced at tonights meeting of the CCCC.
In Group 2, a late goal for Eire Óg in their 2-15 to 2-7 defeat against Wolfe Tones was enough to book their passage along with the Shannon men to the knockout stages.
They finished on 2 points with a scoring difference of minus 9, while Clarecastle finished on minus 11, and Kilfenora on minus 14.
The Magpies beat the North Clare side by 1-8 to 1-6
In underage action this evening, the first of the U14 B football Semi Finals is down for decision.
