The Banner are preparing for Sunday's game away to the Kerry League in the last four of the Oscar Traynor Cup, having already topped a group which included Limerick, Galway and the Desmond League before recording a win over Sligo/Leitrim in the Quarter Finals.
McCarthy, who plays his club football with Avenue United, says the team are confident that they can record more victories and believes other counties should sit-up and take notice.
