Three teams from two Ennis schools have reached the semi-final stages of the Munster Schools Competition
Ennis National School Girl’s Team, made up of Chris Kearney, Niamh O’Shea, Karen McNamara and Shauna Kearney defeated Gaeilscoil Ui Riada from Bishopstown Cork on a 3:2 scoreline.

St. Flannan’s College Under 16 team made up of Nathan D’Arcy, Mark Duffy, Conor Ryan and Douglas Reddan defeated Davis College from Mallow on a 3:O scoreline
While the Under19 team made up of Michael McMahon, Ciaran O’Brien, Eoin Cox and Liam Mullins defeated Glenstall on a 3:1 scoreline
The three local teams are members of Ennis Lawn Tennis and Badminton Club and are coached by Danny and Jason Comerford.
