Clare Retain Division 1A Status Following Dublin Draw In National Camogie League

The Clare Senior Camogie team have retained their top flight status in Division 1A of the National Camogie League.

It comes as The Banner battled to a hard earned draw with visitors Dublin at Cusack Park this afternoon.

The sides exchanged the lead on several occasions in what turned out to be a seesaw encounter in the county grounds, however 1-01 struck without reply on the 45th minute mark, with the major arriving from the stick of Eimear Kelly followed by Orlaith Duggan splitting the uprights, proved crucial as Clare held on for the desired result.

As it finished in Cusack Park on a full time score of Clare 1-10 to Dublin 1-10.

John Carmody’s charges will now have positive momentum at their backs as attentions will now turn to the upcoming Munster Championship.
