Clare have gotten off the mark in Division 1A of the National Hurling League with victory over Limerick.
David Reidy’s second half goal was the difference between the sides as it finished 1-21 to 0-21.

Clare overcame some early pressure in the first half, twice denying their hosts goal opportunities, to lead by three at the break.
Reidy’s goal and a flurry of points had the Banner six to the good entering the final quarter and they withstood a late fightback to hold on to a three point win.
