Clare’s Senior Hurlers recorded a significant win over NUI Galway at UL today as Davy Fitzgerald lead the Banner side for the first time as manager.
They sides played four twenty minute quarter finals at the Limerick venue and Fitzgerald fielded a strong panel of players throughout .
The Galway University side had a smaller pool of players to drawn on, however the side included Clare’s Eoin Hayes, Patrick Kelly and Caimin Morey .
