Clare Ready To Begin Defence Of National Hurling League Crown

Clare will begin the defence of their National Hurling title on Sunday afternoon against a familiar opponent.

A repeat of the 2024 final lies in store when Kilkenny come to Cusack Park in what is the first game for the Cats since losing the All Ireland semi final to Brian Lohan’s side last year.

Management will be without the likes of Conor Cleary and Diarmuid Ryan through injury, with a host of new faces expected to see action.

All Ireland winning selector Ken Ralph says creating an environment where there’s healthy competition for places is key.

Throw in on Sunday afternoon is at 2pm with commentary on Clare FM
