Clare Ready For Tough Tipp Tussle

Management with the Clare Under-21 hurlers have shrugged off concerns that their senior panellists will suffer from fatigue during tonight's Munster semi-final with Tipperary.

Seven of the players who start tonight played for Davy Fitzgerald's side in Saturday's loss to Wexford, but only three of those – Tony Kelly, Colm Galvin and Seadna Morey – played the full 70 minutes and extra time.

Joint manager Gerry O'Connor says it's an advantage that the remaining players did get game time, and is confident that all will be ready for the Premier challenge.

Meanwhile, Tipperary manager TJ Connelly feels a fast start could be vital for his team in Ennis.

Throw-in is at 7:30 and there will be live coverage on Clare FM.

At the same time, Waterford welcome Cork to Walsh Park in the other last-four clash.
