Clare progress to an All Ireland Hurling Quarter final after overcoming Wexford on a scoreline of 3-24 to 1-20.
Clare led by six points at half time, and with six minutes of normal time on the clock, had a five point advantage, but Liam Dunne’s charges hit two points and a Jack Guiney last gasp goal forced it to extra time.
Clare showed their character in the opening half of extra time however going eight points up, substitute Cathal McInerney with a brace of goals, by the final whistle it was a ten point victory for the banner men.
