Tuesday’s annual convention saw Sean O’Halloran of Bodyke elected to the role previously held by Syl O’Connor, and also heard warnings that the drop in membership is posing challenges to Clare’s rural clubs in particular.
O’Halloran feels efforts can now be made to attract more people into clubs, and feels promoting the sport is one way for this to occur
