Clare selector Louis Mulqueen believes this Sunday’s Waterford Crystal Cup semi-final is another opportunity for players to prove themselves ahead of Clare’s National League opener with Limerick this month.
His comments come ahead of this Sunday’s last-four meeting with Waterford as Davy Fitzgerald is set to hand a number of fringe players a further chance to impress ahead of Feb 25th.
