A number of Clare players will be involved in Sigerson Cup action this afternoon for UL.
There were four Banner starters for their opening round win over Sligo IT, with Kildysart’s Emmet McMahon landing 0-5 from play.

He was joined on the starting team by Kilmurry Ibrickane’s Daniel Walsh, Miltown’s Oisín Looney and Kilmihil’s Ciaran Downes.
They go to the Connacht Air Dome this afternoon to face Letterkenny IT at 3.30pm with the winners advancing to the quarter-finals.
