Clare will name their team later for Sunday’s opening game of the National Football League Division Three.
It will be a first competitive outing for new manager Mark Fitzgerald as the Banner look to bounce back from relegation last year.
Sunday’s game against Sligo will be followed seven days later by a trip to Mullingar to take on Westmeath, with management likely to make late fitness calls on some players.
