Clare have missed out on promotion to division three of the football league after a 1-15 to 1-12 loss to Wicklow today.
Clare trailed by 1-8 to 0-06 at the break and were dealth a big blow with the sending off of full back Shane Mc Neilus 10 minutes into the second half.
However Rory Donnelly’s goal broght the visitors right back into the game and the sides were level with 5 to go before Tony Hannon and Leighton Glynn slotted over to give the home side the win and condemn Clare to yet another season in Division four.
