Clare minor hurlers have been defeated by Kilkenny in Semple Stadium this afternoon.
Fergal Lynch’s side played their first game of the All-Ireland quarter-final round-robin series but were well beaten by the Cats on a scoreline of Clare 0-13 Kilkenny 2-14.

Despit strong performances from Clare’s Shane Meehan,Captain Cian Galvin and Conor Hegarty, the banner side were overcome by a physically stronger side.
Kilkenny now play Galway next weekend while Clare will take on the Tribesmen the weekend after.
