Clare minor manager vows that minor refixture will not be midweek

The Clare minor hurling manager has vowed that the refixed Munster minor hurling semi final play off will not go ahead midweek after last nights postponement in Dungarvan.

It was decided to call the game off at 6-40 last evening,just 20 minutes before throw in, due to high winds and heavy rain with both sides as well as parents and supporters left frustrated by the decision.

Eamon Fenessey has told Clare FM that he will not allow the game to go ahead on a Wednesday or Thursday  as parents of players will not tolerate another midweek fixture.

The Scariff man is proposing that the game be fixed for the first weekend in May  but Munster council PRO Ed Donnelly says that there is a lot to consider  before any date is set :
