Clare minor manager calls for encouragment for younger players after heavy defeat

The Clare minor manager has asked that the county continue to support the efforts of younger players despite last night’s  loss to Waterford.

Clare were knocked out of the provincial championship following a 4-18 to 1-10 loss in Dungarvan which ended hopes of a fourth successive Munster final apperance.

Clarecastle’s Bobby Duggan was top scorer for the visitors   last evening  and Eamon Fenessey has told Clare FM that young players need encouragment,not criticism, after a heavy defeat
