The Clare Minor Hurling Manager says a poor start cost his side dearly following defeat to Limerick in the round robin phase of the Munster Championship last night.
The concession of 1-03 in the opening six minutes as well as a goals in either half saw Clare succumb to their first loss of the campaign at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on a full time score of 2-20 to 0-22.
The Banner will have a fortnight to regroup before taking a trip to Dungarvan to face Waterford in the third round round April 11th, where victory will see Clare virtually guaranteed a semi-final place.
