Clare Minor Hurling Boss Praises His Side’s Character Following Opening Round Win

The Clare Minor Hurling Manager has praised his side’s character for delivering a high standard of hurling amidst difficult conditions.

The Banner defeated Tipperary in the opening round of the Munster Minor Hurling Championship in Shannon last night with goals in either half from Michael Collins and Marc O’Brien helping them well on their way to a 2-15 to 0-14 win.

Next up for Clare is a visit to the Gaelic Grounds on Tuesday the 28th to face Limerick, with the Shannonsiders also collecting first round points following a 1-07 to 0-07 defeat of Waterford in Dungarvan.
