Clare’s minor hurling boss is expecting a tight clash against Cork in their Munster championship quarter final this weekend.

The two sides met in last year’s round robin format, with the Banner edging out by the Rebels by a single point at Cusack Park.

Clare boss Brian Coffey is expecting a similar affair on Saturday, in what’s now a straight knockout affair.

Cork, meanwhile, will be led by high profile former goalkeeper Donal Og Cusack.

Banner manager Coffey says the team who progress to a Munster semi final will depend on fine margins.
