Clare’s minor hurlers get their 2022 season underway tonight.
This year’s group are managed by former Clare captain Brian O’Connell, with the Wolfe Tones man joined on his management team by Cyril Lyons and Donal Moloney.
Clare are joined in the round robin series by Tipperary and Waterford, with the Premier winning the opening round tie last week against the Deise.
O’Connell has been involved with this group over the last number of years, and says knowing their players so well has meant they were able to hit the ground running.
