Clare men Colin Crehan and Colin Corbett have both claimed Us junior national handball titles in Tucson, Arizona
Tulla’s Colin Corbett secured the 15&Under open title 13,19 against Tyler Stofell of Minnesota last evening while Kilkishen’s Colin Crehan cliamed the 17&U Open title beating Jacob Rodriguez of California 3,16.
It was also double success for Crehan who along with Cork Patrick Herlihy in the 17 and under doubles defeated
Tyler Stofel (Minesota, USA) and Pol Clarke (Tyrone) in the decider 21-8, 21-11
Corbett and his partner Johnny Woods from Tyrone also won their U15 doubles final against fellow irishmen Evan Sheridan and Robert Fox (both Meath)
The Irish team claimed a number of titles at the event and are flying home this afternoon.
