Clare hurlers may have to beat last year’s All Ireland Champions if they’re to reach this year’s All Ireland Final.

The pairings for this year’s Quarter Finals have been announced, and will see beaten provincial finalists Waterford and Kilkenny go head-to-head.
As there cannot be a repeat of the Munster Final, a Waterford win would see Clare play either Galway or Antrim, but a win for the Cats would set up a repeat of last year’s All Ireland decider between Clare and Kilkenny at Croke Park next month.
If that match does come about, then joint manager Donal Moloney says the Banner will have a score to settle
