Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald has admitted his side still have room for improvement after yesterday’s 3-13 to 1-13 win over UL in the Waterford Crystal cup.

The home side had goals from Nicky O Connell,Alan O Neill and Seadna Morey to thank for their win.
Davy O Halloran and O Neill both made their inter county debuts for Clare yesterday in a young side that also included Tony Kelly and Cathal O Connell.
Fitzgerald told Clare FM that the younger players had an encouraging day but that the Rebels will pose a much stiffer test.
