Clare senior football manager Michael Mc Dermott has called on his players to respond to yesterday’s opening national football league defeat to Leitrim in Carrick On Shannon.
Leitrim overcame a 13 man Clare side after captain Gordon Kelly and David Tubridy were both red carded for incidents in the first and second half respectivly.

Referee Shaun Mc Laughlin came in for criticism following the game with a number of yellow cards handed out to both sides while Clare suffered two dismissals during the 70 minutes.

The win sees Clare bottom of Division four while Leitrim and London share top spot after the Exiles beat Kilkenny in their opening game.
