Clare management admit concern over rival’s Munster results

The Clare senior management admit they have been concerned by how poorly their league rivals in Divison four  have fared in this year’s Munster senior football championship.

League champions Limerick were hammered by Cork last month in the gaelic grounds while Tipperary and Waterford were both dismantled by Kerry in the past fortnight.

Clare take on the Rebels on June 16th looking to atone for last year’s Munster final loss to Conor Counihan’s side and qualify for their second provincial final in a row.

Selector Ger keane told Clare FM that its upto  so called "weaker counties" to reach  the standard set by the top sides in Ireland :
